I have to brag on Boho Bus again. Mostly because I just paid our taxes, but also because this vest has quickly turned into a weekly staple. I like to wear it cinched at the waist for added flounciness, but at our recent photoshoot (which went amazingly), the model wore it open for a more casual look. I’ve been wearing this boho beauty with stripes and solids and plan to wear it with a dress next. In my world, you can never have enough green vests. Keep reading for more pictures!
I believe the last time I wore overalls, they were denim and had all of the Winnie the Pooh characters stitched out of the front pocket. I suppose overalls have come a long way since 1996. I’d been meaning to try some for the longest time, but due to my shape, they never fit me right; too big in the top and too small in the hips. I snatched these Free People overalls up during a big time sale at my local store and because FP is the best at making slouchy clothing, they actually fit! I chose to go with a neutral, basic top because anything else felt way too Thomas the Tank Engine. Try to stay away from stripes… unless it’s Halloween and you’re a train conductor. I think I’ll try to venture into overall shorts this summer – getting crazy! More photos below!
Sometimes I feel like I find a piece of clothing that just really represents me. Anyone else? This top does that. Which is why I have it in this rust color andBoho Bus its designer version in white. I couldn’t help but pick it out for (in both aforementioned colors). I honestly am not sure if I’ve ever worn one piece of clothing more often than this one. Blousy and fresh, with hand-stitched aztec patterns: it’s everything I love in a top!
