Skyline Park at Ponce City Market

Sometimes (and especially while growing up) it seems like there aren’t any fun things to do in Atlanta – coming from someone who lives here. Sure, you can hit up the Georgia Aquarium or the Zoo (my favorite), drink up at the World of Coke (yum) or play at the College Football Hall of Fame (still can’t wait to go!). But once you’ve done these, then where do you go? My absolute favorite place to visit and bring guests is Ponce City Market. And with the all new Skyline Park Rooftop – it’s a no brainer. This is the place to hang in Atlanta.

Skyline Park at Ponce City Market is basically a carnival on the rooftop of the coolest outdoor shopping center in Atlanta. There are carnival games (think Skeeball and ring toss), a putt-putt course, tasty treats and drinks, a slide and even a self-powered orbiting ride that gives you a 360 view of the Atlanta skyline. The games are pretty addictive if you’re a competitive person and the slide is super fun (especially for that Boomerang Insta-shot).

Besides games, Skyline Park also has a full snack bar with hot dogs, Frito pies (!) and cold drinks. There’s nothing better than walking the boardwalk with a cold beer (or so I hear) or a fresh cocktail! This part of the roof comes in pretty handy if you’re not an athletic person – just go up top for a drink and the view!

A beer garden will soon open adjacent to the amusement park, and it’s sure to be the coolest place to drink on a warm night. I can’t wait to see what special events they hold at the space and the amazing photo opps that will come with it. Atlanta loves rooftops – and this may be the best one yet.

It costs $10 for adults ($7 for kids) to access the rooftop from the private elevator, which is original to the building. Once up top, games range from $1-$3 and mini golf starts at $8 dependent on the time of day. Bring out the whole family or just spend date night in the coolest, most fun place in the Atlanta sky!
