Celebrity Style: AnnaLynne McCord

As most of my Twitter followers know, I've been obsessively watching 90210 on Netflix for about 3 weeks (started with Season 1, now halfway through Season 4). And my favorite character is Naomi! I don't know why, because if she was a real person I probably wouldn't like it her.. and we're complete opposites. But whatever. She's awesome. And her stylist on the show is amazing. Can I have her job?

Don't believe me?

My favorite looks:

Perfect for work!

She is perfect!

Who's your favorite on 90210?
There will be another 90210 style post. For sure.

BzzAgent Review: Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Review

A couple weeks ago, I was sent the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner set from BzzAgent. I was really excited about this because I am obsessed with trying out new Shampoo and Conditioners.

Pros:
It's affordable and you can find it at the drugstore.
The smell is amazinggg. It smells fruity and sweet and exactly what I like.
Leaves your hair smooth, soft, and shiny!
I really like the bottle shape and design.

Cons:
Hair doesn't hold the yummy scent!
The formula was a bit heavy, so my hair was greasy on the second day.

Overall:
I was very surprised with how much I liked this Shampoo and Conditioner. I haven't had the greatest success with Garnier in the past because it made my hair dry and greasy.. at the same time. However, the formula has definitely changed and I was very pleased! It probably wouldn't be my every day shower set, just because it did force me to wash my hair every day, but for special occasions it was perfect!

* I was sent these 2 products to review as a member of BzzAgent.com. However, these opinions are completely my own!

Weekend OOTDs

This past weekend was one of the busiest I've had lately! Lots of Graduation events and family visits.
And I think I wore too much blue..

Dress: local boutique Lavender
Belt: J.Crew
Wedges: Gap

Dress: local boutique Encore
Necklace: Ebay! (J.Crew copy. still waiting on my red one!)
Boots: Nashville

I'm very glad the weekend is over so now I can do a little bit of relaxing and reading and laying out in the sun.

Photos from the weekend:

I randomly ran across one of my best friends at my cousin's Graduation ceremony! How funny is that? Turns out her boyfriend's little brother is one of my cousin's best friends.. weird.

The balloon I picked out, that popped right after we put it out.

What did you wear this weekend?

Textbook Rentals for a Cause!

I know I've talked about textbook rentals on here before, and I know I technically don't need textbook rentals anymore, BUT I wanted to share some recent news I learned about my favorite rental website, CampusBookRentals.

Now I pretty much think renting textbooks is the most convenient thing in the world.
You pay less than a third of the price to rent a book that you probably will never look at, you can even  highlight in them, and you don't have to go through the hassle of maybe, maybe not being able to sell them back at the end of the semester. FREE Shipping both ways. (I'm huge for free shipping.) CampusBookRentals even sends you an envelope with a prepaid sticker to send back the books.. and it is SO easy. You just throw the books in the envelope, seal it, and drop it off at the Post Office. It's even hot pink. :)

Just to show you an example of the price of a book I rented last semester:
Promotion in the Merchandising Environment, 2nd Edition

On CampusBookRentals - $20.09:

On Amazon - $72.38:

But besides the ease and convenience of CampusBookRentals, they also give back! Which is awesome and just one more incentive to rent from them!

For each textbook that is rented, they donate to Operation Smile.
via
If you don't already know about this great cause, Operation Smile provides free surgery to reconstruct facial deformities like cleft palate and cleft lip in children all over the world. This foundation has always been dear to my heart because what's better than a youngster's smile? Nothing.

So next time you need a textbook, rent one from CampusBookRentals! You WON'T be sorry I promise. I have been using CampusBookRentals for 3 years and had an excellent experience with it each semester.

Summer Reading

Now that summer has officially started and I have lots (LOTS) of spare time to read, it's time to make my reading list!

I just finished the 3-book series, Calloway Summers, by Jennifer Erin Valent:

They were SO good and I recommend them to everyone. I know I've talked about Fireflies in December before on here, but now that I've read the entire series I had to update you all. At least read the first one!

Other Books On My List:

What are you reading??

Connect with me on Goodreads!

I also use the website eBookFling.com to rent books for my Kindle. You pay for credits and then borrow books from other people on the site! It's much cheaper than buying books from the Kindle (or Nook!) store, but not all books are available on it right now. Check it out here!

My Latest Business Venture

Let me just start by saying I have always been an entrepreneur.
My first business, as a 6 year old, was selling lemonade in my driveway to my neighborhood of about 30 houses. But when that was too slow, I decided to take my wagon with me and sell my lemonade door to door. Yes I was very innovative. And awfully successful! I kept selling lemonade until I was in middle school and my dad even built me a transportable lemonade stand inside my wagon so I could easily travel to the neighborhood pool or the corner of the street. (By this time we had moved to one of the largest neighborhoods in my county.) I was making like $20 a day.

But now that I can't sell lemonade for a living, I'm finding other ways to make and sell product.

Enter in my sister.

She's making these super cute bracelets and dream catchers, and I thought "Why not try to sell them?"

What we are selling:

3 different types of bracelets

1. The Girl's Best Friend ($8, 1 color)
2. Forever Linked ($8, up to 4 colors)
3. The Beady ($8, 1 color)

These can be made with any color string you can think of! Our current selection is as follows, but if you have any other colors you would want it can be arranged!

Dreamcatchers

1. Large Dreamcatcher, $15 - perfect for any window or wall
2. Small Dreamcatcher, $10 - perfect for your rearview mirror!

All of these products can be customized for you.
Let me know if you are interested or want more information!
You can e-mail me at rachel.justpeachy@gmail.com

Also, remember that my giveaway ends TONIGHT at Midnight! Get those last minute entries in! :)
