Weekend OOTDs

Today is my very last day of classes ever! Eek! So scary/sad/depressing/exciting(?)! Then Final Exams start Wednesday and end Next Wednesday. I have a Take Home final due Wednesday, then a final Thursday morning, Friday afternoon, and the following Wednesday. Not too shabby!

This past weekend was pretty busy. Friday I came home and my sister and mom and I went out to dinner for my birthday to my favorite restaurant in my hometown. Then we went to the Dave Barnes concert! It was amazing! This is what I wore:

Saturday was spent getting a massage (YES) which left me tired yet very relaxed all day. Then I headed to Atlanta with my boyfriend and his work to the Braves game. Super fun! I wore this:

Trends We're Probably Going To Regret..

Before I start this post, let it be known that I have fully participated in all of these trends. And I still do. Just a disclaimer. :)

Let's face it, we all look back on photos from middle school and even high school and think "what the heck was I thinking wearing that stupid outfit?" even if at the time you were literally the coolest girl for wearing that head to toe Juicy outfit. Oh, that was just me?

Anyways, I'm just seeing into the future here and predicting what our children will make fun of us for wearing.

Feather Hair Extensions

Man these things were cool. But why? Where did this even start? It looks like a striped piece of hair.

Yea I definitely had 3 different clip-in pieces that I rarely wore.. but I thought I could branch out and wear one to the Lady Gaga concert. I sure was crazy.

Brightly Colored Denim

I know I don't want to hear this, but it may be true. I don't think our kids are going to wear highlighter yellow pants. They may even make fun of red, which is pretty much a staple in every UGA girl's closet now. And I wear red pants almost once a week.

Rompers

How perfect is Nicole Richie?

Gosh I love rompers. They're just fun and easy and way more comfortable than dresses, while still looking like a dress. They're actually pretty flattering too considering it's one piece of fabric. I told myself I wasn't ever going to wear one, then I bought like 5 in one shopping trip.


Sequins

Sorry,  I had to.

Sequin dresses, sequin shirts, sequin skirts. I love my sequins, but one day we're going to be called living disco balls.


Hopefully these trends won't be as bad as gaucho pants and Crocs but ya never know what will be in style in 20 years!

For my birthday yesterday, my boyfriend came to town to take me to lunch.

Then we travelled to Atlanta/Turner Field to watch my school play baseball against Georgia Tech, where I have a friend who plays! My parents met us there and it was real fun.

21 years ago.

I am officially an old lady. 22 years old? I'm practically ancient.

I can no longer use the excuse, "Come on, I'm 21!"

But seriously, 22 seems so grown up to me. I have to actually get out there on my own now. Make my own money, have my own house, pay my own bills. Am I ready? Probably not.

But at least I get to eat all the cake and sweets I want and tell everyone what to do all day.

I decided I was going to make my own graduation announcements this year, just like I did in high school! Except now I know how to use Illustrator so they're probably going to actually look good. Go me!

Too Busy To Even Play Draw Something...

Between group projects, presentations, applying for jobs (anyone know of any Marketing positions? .. but seriously.), final exams, work, Senior banquets/dinners/events, and then finding time to sleep.. I am alive. So don't think I'm abandoning ship.

Not yet, anyways. :)

Today I'm taking some senior pictures that I just can't wait to show you guys!

Then I'm going to listen to the Editor of Glamour speak, umm awesome! Am I allowed to beg her for a job?

Then I'm going to watch my Oxford friend in a play/reunite with some of my favorite Study Abroad friends!

Then I'm going to try to stop by my last Date Night ever (dateless, sad.) for some great senior reminiscing moments. 

Then maybe I'll find the time to crawl into bed and pass out until it starts all over again the next day.

What a life, right?

Also, I don't know if this is just me, but does anyone else go to take that first shower after a haircut and you're washing your hair and you kind of panic like "Oh snap! I'm bald now!" and then you remember you just got your haircut. And then when your hairstylist thins your hair so perfectly that it takes like 20 minutes to dry your hair instead of an hour. 

The greatest.

Oh, and I was serious about y'all finding me a job. Blogs are all about networking, right? (And showing off your Pinterest skills, DIY skills, outfits, good hair days, gifts you get for holidays, how much you love your boyfriend/dog, and last but not least thinspiration.)

I'm sorry if this out of the ordinary post scares you away. I may be wired from an iced coffee I had a couple hours ago.
